The ComiLED Universal New Construction Rough-In Plate is a professional pre-mounting solution designed for 3-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch canless recessed LED wafer lights. Unlike standard rough-in brackets that support only one fixture size, this universal mounting plate features removable inner rings, allowing a single product to accommodate multiple recessed light diameters. This flexible design helps distributors, contractors, and builders reduce inventory while simplifying project planning.

Constructed from heavy-duty galvanized steel, the mounting plate offers outstanding rigidity, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. It remains stable during installation, even before drywall is installed, ensuring precise fixture positioning throughout the construction process.

Designed specifically for new construction, the plate allows electricians to pre-mount the junction box and complete wiring before drywall installation. Integrated holding clips securely fix the junction box to the plate, while engraved ruler markings and center-point indicators ensure accurate spacing and alignment for professional lighting layouts.
