Description

A Softer and More Decorative Night-Light Effect

Unlike conventional ultra-slim recessed lights with a flat luminous surface, this model uses a stepped diffuser around the center aperture. The optical structure helps soften direct brightness while creating a more layered and decorative lighting effect.

In Main Light Mode, the central light source provides clear, uniform illumination for everyday use. In Night Light Mode, the stepped diffuser glows with a soft 1800K amber halo, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere for bedrooms, hallways, home theaters, hotels, apartments, and other leisure spaces.

Main Light Mode
• Bright illumination for everyday activities
• Five selectable white color temperatures
• Smooth dimming with compatible dimmers
• Wide and uniform room coverage
Night Light Mode
• Soft 1800K amber illumination
• Layered halo across the stepped diffuser
• Reduced harshness compared with flat lenses
• Ideal for relaxing and nighttime environments

How the Dual-Mode Control Works
Main Light Mode

The fixture starts in the main-light mode when it is powered on after remaining off for approximately 20 seconds. The installer can pre-select one of five color temperatures before completing the installation.

Night Light Mode

Turn the standard wall switch off and back on within approximately five seconds to change from the main light to the soft amber night-light mode.

Synchronization and Reset

When multiple recessed lights are connected to the same switch, occasional rapid switching may cause individual fixtures to display different modes. Turn the switch off for approximately 20 seconds and then turn it back on. All connected fixtures will reset to the main-light mode.

FAQs

Q1. How do I switch between the main light and night light?
Use a standard wall switch. Turn the fixture off and back on within approximately five seconds to change between the main-light mode and the amber night-light mode. No separate controller is required.
Q2. What makes the stepped diffuser different from a standard slim downlight?
A standard slim downlight usually has a flat luminous surface. This fixture uses a stepped diffuser that helps soften direct brightness and creates a layered amber halo when the night light is activated. The result is a warmer and more decorative ceiling effect.
Q3. What should I do if several lights display different modes?
Turn the wall switch off for approximately 20 seconds and then turn it back on. All connected fixtures will reset to the default main-light mode, allowing the complete lighting group to operate in sync again.
Q4. Where is the amber night-light mode most useful?
The warm night-light mode is particularly suitable for bedrooms, hallways, home theaters, hotel rooms, apartments, senior living facilities, and other spaces that benefit from low-level ambient lighting.
Q5.  Does ComiLED offer OEM and private-label manufacturing?
Yes. ComiLED supports OEM and ODM orders, including private labeling, custom packaging, barcode labels, finish customization, specification development, and other services for lighting brands, distributors, and wholesalers.
Q6. Can ComiLED support North American project orders?
Yes. ComiLED supplies electrical distributors, residential builders, commercial contractors, lighting wholesalers, and OEM brands. Selected products are available from U.S. warehouse inventory for faster delivery.

Q7. Can samples be provided before a bulk order?
Sample orders can be arranged for product evaluation, dimmer compatibility testing, finish approval, and project mockups before customers proceed with larger wholesale or OEM orders.
